Has anybody downloaded this yet? I have v2.6 - I upgraded once before and the newer version sucked, and I wound up going back to 2.6.

Anyway, what do you think of 3.1? Should I bother with it?

Personally, I love the new WinMX. I've had no problems with it, and rarely download any semi-mainstream song at less than 100k/s. WinMX 3.1 is my favorite version yet. It's the closest thing I've seen to Napster quality results. Kazaa loads you up with spy ware, Morpheus just plain sucks, and I never really figured AudioGalaxy out. If WinMX were a little easier to use, it'd be wonderful.

I stopped using WinMX a while ago...for mainstream stuff, IMESH is the fastest by far...if you can't find it there,A udiogalaxy is quirky, but has the most available songs by miles. There's not much you can't get on there.

I've been using AudioGalaxy for a few months now and I've had no problems with it and found every track I've looked for.

I've been using the new WinMX a couple of weeks now, and I wouldn't say I loved it, but for the most part, it's a good program. I probably won't be switching back to an older version this time.

I'm still a little confused by some of the new features though, and adding new servers seems to be a pain in the ass.

Never heard of IMESH, will have to check it.

I've posted this before, but i'll do it again, go to www.cleanclients.tk to get all the file sharing apps without the spyware. Just got kazaa 1.7.1 a few days ago and it works fine.

Forgot to mention that if you have Broadband, IMESH is fantastic for movies as well.
