Most of you will know I had a friend who was dying because she couldnt get a transplant, and had been told that there was no chance she would get one and to give up hoping and make the most of her life.

Well, today at 1300 she was told to get her ass to hospital as they have a kidney for her. I am SO happy i cannot beleive it, although I am also very scared because it is such a large and dangerous operation :)

She came though the operation, and is doing quite well all things being considered.

The kidney is working, so from now on its a different like :eek:

ah well, im gutted, the new kidney has gone to sleep, which is an early sign of rejection.
