We are a generation raised without religion,
It’s not that we don’t have faith,
Just that we don’t know what to put it in,
We have role models although their roles are unclear,
It’s not that there are no heroes,
Just that they are disposable ones,
Our children have a god,
He talks to them and comforts them,
Instructs them about everything they need to know,
He is there for them 60 seconds of 60 minutes of 24 hours of 7 days of each of the 52 weeks of every year,
He is grey and square and sits in their living rooms,
And his name is Sony.
