Air answers
Never saw you fade away,
But I guess I never tried,
At least the memory stays,
Buried here inside,
Wonder when your eyes dried,
When the light was really shown,
I guess some point you realized,
You were always on your own,
Past the empty chairs again,
No ones sat for weeks,
Could ask the air for answers,
But this silence never speaks,
Choices are all used now,
A half glimpsed falling tear,
A whole world so different,
Yet everything so clear.
Never saw you fade away,
But I guess I never tried,
At least the memory stays,
Buried here inside,
Wonder when your eyes dried,
When the light was really shown,
I guess some point you realized,
You were always on your own,
Past the empty chairs again,
No ones sat for weeks,
Could ask the air for answers,
But this silence never speaks,
Choices are all used now,
A half glimpsed falling tear,
A whole world so different,
Yet everything so clear.
