Now I've got my broadband up and running, I've been thinking of doing some online gaming.

So I wondered today what other dogbombers were playing online, whether its RPG, FPS, or whatever.

So if you've got any suggestions, drop them in this thread. If we've lucky, we might end up with some dogbomber clans or player groups or something.

Some people have already suggested Legend Of Mir, and Warcraft2 for RPG, along with Amercas Army, Quake 3 for FPS.

So come on you lot, lets get together in the gaming world.

apart from the daily quake 2 lan tournaments at college, i havnt played anything seriously online for months, Used to play UT2003 a lot (FPS) id recomend it.

Counterstrike rocks as well, quake 3 is good apart from the shitty level design, and i wouldnt touch americas army with a bargepole.

Mir never appealed to me, seems to get very expensive, more than i can afford, but its up to you. Warcrafts ment to be good.

the only thing i would recomend is gamespy, an online gaming portal, which apart from being a bit clunky is rather good.

Ut2k3 servers are near empty. Something that I think is a tragedy because the game totally rocks. Come febuary when Unreal Tournament 2004 is out they will fill up again, instantly.
(This game is gonna blow Doom3 and HL2 clear out of the water, mark my words)
I'm gonna give America's Army another try in the mean time. This new Special Ops patch looks awsome.
