If your nan is in the UK she should be getting invalidity benefits. There are two parts to this benefit, one is the bit for you, and the other is attendance allowance which covers you for any additional help you need incase you cant look after yourself.

but that woman did not get that way overnight. she had to have known wat she was doing eating her way to death.

she did this no one forced her to eat. and the liposucktin would be cheaper.

Staple her stomach, then give her liposuction and trim off the excess skin for grafts onto burn victims and like - I'm not taking the piss, it's been done before.

As for starving her/sending her to Ethopia as food aid - she may be selfish, but people with emotional problems often are and gorging yourself to death is hardly the act of a well-adjusted individual.

true, but that said, anorexics do not become emaciated overnight. This group of people tend to experience less abuse and far more help, sympathy, support. Do these people know they are starving themselves to death? Yes they do, but still they do it.

i see wot your saying but i have little simpathy for anorexics either and i used to be one (long ago). and anorexics tend not to want the local government to make huge costly renovations to their houses.

Areas to be negotiated here I think would include tummy, thighs, buttocks, breasts ( they would count as two ) arms. Thats your $ 15,000 and I suspect there are areas I have missed.

But we have not included the cost of drugs, dressings, aftercare specialists, staff wages. This would be major surgury!!! The biggest cost would more than likely be her life. Do you think someone of this size could survive a proceedure like this?? Its doubtful, so add on the cost of her funeral.

At the end of the day, does it matter where the money is put when it is begrudged either way? It sickens me to think that there are people out there, unfeeling enough, with no concept of the word emapthy, that would rather condem this lady to a barbaric proceedure, that would more then likely kill her, then see her made comfortable.

and i think people in this day and age are entirely too sympathic to people who got themselves in a mess. she did that noone else why should taxpayers pay for her weight issue.
that money could be better spent on education or hospital care for truly ill people or infrastructure or benifit increase for poor jobless families
