if you have a problem with anything and the people you brought it from are being shits then get in touch with your local trading standards office.
years ago for my 18th birthday my boyfriend of the time brought me a portable colour tv. from the start it never worked properly, there was always a snowy picture no matter how many times you tuned it. it went back and forth to the shop for repairs, including a new tuner pack (???) being fitted and still no joy, they then told me to buy this thing that you stuck into the back of the tv and then put the airiel into. still no joy. in the end i called trading standards, they were brilliant. they spoke to the shop and within 2 weeks the tv had been back and the problem was discovered............
wait for it, you'll like this one...............
they hadnt wired the plug up properly and there was a loose connection! all this "well it worked fine in our repair shop" shit that hey gave me. bastards.
11 years on it still works perfectly.
so do yourselves a favour and go to trading standards, if you cant get their number then ask your local council.
