They're getting cheaper now so has anybody got one ?

Are they any good or is video still the best option ?

I don't really know enough about them. They do sound appealing though - especially with the amount of space on a dvd. What are the standard prices now?

and if you need blank dvd's give me a shout :D

you will pay a lot for a reasonable dvd recorder with a digitial input (shocked people even bought analgue input ones)

We used to have one at work.
that was quite good. panasonic. I think it was about £380. That was last year though.
very easy to use.

Don't really see the point though. What are you going to burn to dvd? Last nights Eastenders?

Well, if I was to use re-recordable discs There would be no problem !


Are re-recordable discs available for d.v.d's ?

Looks like they are (http://store.yahoo.com/cdrdvdrmedia/dvdrw1.html), Dave. I've got a DVD-RW in the new computer, but I haven't tried it yet; it also works as a CD burner. There is a DVD-ROM right below it, so the potential for mischief is there...
