Has anyone seen/played Neverwinter Nights yet? What have been your experiences so far?

I've played it for a bit and I think I like it but I'm not sure if it's worth the cash.

For those of you looking around and pretnding you know what it is it's the latest (and hopefully greatest) D&D game out there. PC only as well.

Is there anywhere we can look at it?

I've never even heard of it, so that's how much it's managed to impress upon my life.

But I would have thought for sure you'd be a D&D guy netniV. Oh well maybe it's just couse it was made in Canada.

I love Dungeon's and Dragons. But I've never heard of that game, I'm afraid. It hasn't made that much impact on my friends either. If it was so hot, it woulda done.

Oh it is hot. Everyone in the US and Canadian gaming community are going ape shit over it. They love it. I, however, am not a fan of the source material.

Ok, I'm going to have to research this one, because it's never been in my circle of friends, and that is unusual. Someone's probably holding back, just you wait and see.

Yeah. especially since you can multiplay it and set it up like a 3d D&D campain. You can even build your own campains as well.

Erm. Forget I ever attempted to be impressed. Your unwitty remark has put me right of the game because I'm a spoilt sod.

Well your call but you'll be missing out on quite the gem.

I`ll think you`ll find a cracked group release was on the newsgroups last week. It`ll certainly be available on Edonkey, Kazza-lite and other File sharing clients by now :)

3 CD`s though guys!

I actually read a review saying how unbelievable it was, how "worth the wait" and how it encompasses everything a good RPG should. The guy in the review actually said "3 years to create and I just ripped it off the net" ;)

Seen it in action, seen the design tools in action, played a bit... and as far as any other MMORPGs go (i think that's the correct acronym) this will be one I'll be picking up shortly.

The thing that appeals to me the most is how you don't have to pay for monthly useage. Not only is it a prettied up version of Balders Gate meets EQ... (very slopy comparison), but the whole fact that you can create your own world, host your own game... the whole idea behind NWN is just astoundingly gorgeous!

If you guys want, i can try to hook you up with some more info from my friend who's building his own world right now.

Well I would go as far to say it's a massively multiplayer orpg. Just multiplayer. It's expecially nowhere near the massiveness of evercrack.

I was impressed enough to buy it - and am looking forward to a bit of dungeon bash. Hey, might even play the game too.
