I like to meet celebrites as you may have guessed, recently I met Richard keil all 7ft or him, he was the guy with metal teeth you had that fight with Roger Moore in Moonraker. Also met big stars such as David Soul Huggy bear, Face from the A team, Joan Colin, most of the Star Wars cast, and many Dr Who stars, Bond girls etc. Who have you met?

Scorpio and Lightening from Gladiators, Les Batersby and more recently Lisa Scott Lee :)

I don't go out to meet this people or go to see that a t public functions as such, The yall happened by chance.

Les was in a night club in Barnsley as a special guest didnt know he was there.

The Gladiatiors were in a allports shop in Wakefield when I went to buy some new running shoes and they were signing autographs

And Lisa was out drinking with her brother in Doncaster in Trilogy :)

I had a fight with Roger Moore? I hope I pummelled the saggy-skinned old ham.

I find it curious that of all the "big stars" you've met the only one you can actually name is David Soul. The rest get called by their character name or are lumped together as "Bond girls", "Star Wars cast", etc.

Yeah, but that was like days ago!
Life moves pretty fast, sometimes you gotta stop and look around.

What's the definition of meeting someone famous? Just being another person in the crowd while you file past to get an autograph or actually sitting down, having a chat and sharing a cup of tea?

I've seen quite a few celebs at conventions (when dragged to them) and other meetings as part of my work - but I've also got to know a few for a brief while behind the scenes. Recently I've met a few of the cast of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and while chilling out behind stage from the rampant starry-eyed fans, had a quiet talk and cups of tea.

I was in "Some Mothers Son", which probably means nothing to anyone who's not Irish. Still, it was fun and I met a hugely famour person who I made day-friends with.
Oh yeah, and Games Workshop staff members. Irish cinema and model makers...that's me done.

Ooh, now...

How low grade are we talking?

Lets see...

1) Irene Marot, who played DD Dixon in Brookside, she was my nursery school teacher.

2) Louis Emerick who played Mick Johnson in Brookside and is now married to his former Brookside wife in Casualty instead. I chased him down the road, that was funny.

3) Someone who came second in that godawful Jane McDonald "talent" show thingy...

4) Dogbomb - hes quite notorious, it prolly counts...

5) I have also met an exiled prince of somewhere, but I have no idea where, or even what his name is now...

6) Prince Edward - I was on the front page of the local rag with the headline "Saucy Badge Makes Prince Blush". Say no more.

7) The Duchess of Gloucester, she came to open a nursing home I was working in and the client I was supporting during her visit who was supposed to be demonstrating how ably she could one handed be supported to make a cup of tea, decided it would be much more fun to eat the teabag as the Duchess arrived. How we struggled to contain our mirth.

I used to know Annie Miles (was in Brookside) and Sean Prendergast (a utility Geordie actor).

Also had a piss next to the abominable Sting when he was playing in a band called "Last Exit" in Gosforth. His first old lady (Frances Tomelty?) was there, too, not in the gents, in the audience.

Actually,,, I've met quite a few, and worked for a couple, Don Johnson and Kurt Russell when they raced Offshore Boats a few yrs. ago. Also worked a boat that Vince Neil of Motley Crue fame race for a bit. Anyway... The best was Jan Michael Vincent of that crappy show Airwolf. He had just raced a boat at Lake Mead, in Nevada - just outside of Vegas. He had a bigger boat and more power than anyone else at this particular race. If was supposed to be a fun club race, but ohhhh noooo, not him!!! Long story short, he started actin' all big and bad and gettin' hammered as soon as he got out of the boat. About an hr. later he was blotto and some dude and his chick came up to him, dude had a beautiful Rottweiler and chick wanted JMV's autograph. He pretty much ignored her and started messin' with the dog, he was told not to, didn't matter, 'ol JVM,,, he knew everthing!! I be damned if didn't bend down and he did that dog took one helluva chunk outta his mug!!! Was put on a "flight for life" where they took him to the hospital and tried to put his face back together, not much success though!!!

seems the bints still want his wanker rammed up their arse.
Does anyone have an address for Bob Golic that played Mike Rogers on
SBtB: the College Years? Thanks Angela B.

Only on the field. Hard to believe a guy that small could wreak the havoc that he did.

Yes I know he is a big guy, just not comparatively speaking.

I once stood (having a piss) between Alan "not half!" Freeman and Ed "Stewpot" Stewart. Fortunateley they were both having a piss too, coz we were all in the bogs! I also had a piss next to Fish 'im out of Marillion! His real name is Derek Dick so his nickname should've been Fishdick! But it probably wasn't.

I feel a bit left out here:(( You all seem to live gloriously glamourous lives whereas I can only recall meeting people who claimed to have met celebrities. Does that count?
If so then here are mine:

John Lennon 8)
The Queen
Russ Abbott
Lenny Henry
Paul Weller
Martin Fry

Oh I have just remembered I met two of the guys out of Tiswas. One of then used to be in a group called Darts. He asked me if I advocated physicall violence and when I replied "no" he kneed me in the groin!
Maybe we should start another thread entitled "celebrities I have been assualted by"

I play keyboards and teached, them anyway I was at the local Moat house hotel, at a music fair buying tons of cheap music, at the time Yellow Polka Dot Bikini came out by Timmy Mallet, it was in a book I brought of what was then popular music in the charts recently, as I left the show who walks in but the guy himself! I said hi and he was very shy! considering his normal behaviour it was strange to see him so shy. no I did not get him to sign the book! Not that sad!

Joan Collins was like Madonna arriving in one limo, driven about in 2 others and having the office she was opening turned into a bedroom overnight all the top floor, which had to be returned to an office when she left, she acts like she is royalty!

Jorden very nice but tarty said about 5 words all night and left after signing for fans, see my site if your don't beleiev me www.acogb.co.uk click on gallery. I am the bauld guy!

Tony Blackburn lives oon another planet and is totally off his head and crazy, his writing is like a child.

melinda messeger was great but her tit on me as she hugged me for my picture! firm!

Sad that David soul is living in an old flat in London funny guy to speak too and slightly deaf, Paul Daniels was the strangest guy I met though not sure what to make of him!

michaela Strachan Phillippa forrester both babes!

I was once with my ex-girlfriend up in London with her 5 year old girl when we bumped into Sclub7. They may not be particularly talented, but amongst 5 year olds they are the bee's knee's. The treatment they gave to my ex's daughter can only be described as exemplary.

Willie Thorne (snooker player, top bloke)
John Virgo (snooker player, another top geezer)
Cliff Lazarenko (used to chuck a mean arrer, superb)

Seen loads of people coming out of Gatwick or Heathrow, but i dont tend to say ello, i figure they may be a bit tired at 2/3/4am.
