Ok, I run reg cleaners and a ton of little programs. I love reg cleaners that let you see what got installed in the box.... however this one is diff.

DEEP SCAN. REMOVED 3000 piece of shits from my box. Only result was the box is now 3X faster. Really.

Hotlink to http://www.macecraft.com/ removed

Free for 30 days. Just select deep scan. Select all. And fix. Make backup easy to remember.... although I didn't have any problem.

BEST PROGRAM EVAH!!!!

Please DO NOT hotlink to files on other websites, it is in the rules for the site, as it is bad practice and considered rude.

It is also bad form to link directly to exe files - i know i certainly wouldnt download an exe linked from another sites just on someones reccomendation

I've experience using these kind of things after many years and several reinstalls of windows (the learning curve) and if you don't know what something is then don't risk changing it without backups. If you just let these things do what they do without user intervention I can guarantee they will break something somewhere even if the machine will still boot up just fine. Also just because it's 3X faster on your machine isn't going to mean anyone elses machine is going to achieve that, 3X sounds like there must have been something very wrong with it.

APPROACH WITH CAUTION

I agree moxie. The program has a buit in backup file save. Although I ripped all of the files on both of my machines with no problems.

What it does is look for invalid/unusable values. And either fix them or remove them.

The 3X faster was because I had gotten the box from someone else and never had performed said operation before.

A bud of mine experience similar results.

Heck, I don't work for the company, I was just amazed at how it kicked ass, and took out things no other program had ever found.

Goostuff.

I've got the old freeware version of jv16 PowerTools and it's a great program, and this looks like it's coded by the same people - can't go far wrong. The only thing I missed in it was the ability to search for dead registry entries which you can do in Norton, but apart from that it had a lot which Norton doesn't have. Sorry if I "jumped the gun" a little bit. ;)
