View Full Version : Crisp Packet Condoms
Kormiic Feb 9, 2004, 16:34 First, read this (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/health/3473415.stm)
I read this, and laughed. Laughed quite loud infact. The image of some dumb kids backing away with a packet of Salt & Vinegar rustling between the girls thighs was hilarious.
Of course, surely sex with crisp packet between you is not only no fun at all, but quite painful. Why the fuck are they even trying it? I always thought casual sex was about fun.
The problem still comes down to education. It's obvious these kids either are desperate to lose the stigma of virginity, are too drunk/drugged to know any better or just want to be able to boast being sexually active, no matter what.
In the UK, attitudes towards sex are still pathetically skewed, and this is one of the many by-products of it.
That is as scary as hell. But kids should be educated about where to get free contraceptives from.
There's probably a good joke lurking in here somewhere.
Along the lines of "You've tried Salt and Linneker, now how about Cheese and Seaman?"
dominoid Feb 9, 2004, 19:42 Interesting, perhaps if salt n shake crisps changed the contents of their little blue bags?...
piercedprincess Feb 10, 2004, 16:19 Omg i cannot believe this is actually happening in my home city . Mind you i actually can . There are plenty of estates in Bristol where there are families on their fourth generation unemployed and the only goal in life is to multiply from a very early age and to not consider education as important. These kids probably come from these sorts of families where truanting is actively condoned and even encouraged to do it. They are never in school to receive the meagre sex education that is there , so how can we improve on this?.Generally though , sex education should start at a much younger age and in much more detail
Whatever happened to the good old days when a bit of clingfilm and an elastic band would suffice?
Kids, eh.......
postal postie Feb 20, 2004, 18:13 salt and vinegar? that's gotta be painful. i would have chosen a less acidic crisp flavouring to put on my knob.
indecision Feb 22, 2004, 07:26 hahaha...now thats killing two birds with one stone...hahaha...quite a bit sad too though
dave brown Feb 22, 2004, 15:15 I once used a crisp packet ........................
And ended up with cheesie wotsits !
i dont believe it for one minute. i think, one or two kids might have tried it and its ballooned into a news article. I doubt they use contraception in the first place- if they were so desperate to have safe sex, they would know that you can get condoms from fpc free. Its like using a fork to sweep up because there is no broom.

Zapdos Feb 23, 2004, 10:34 I remember a few years ago that they were going to start selling condoms in newagents aimed mainly at the younger lovers (Fuckers didn't sound right there) they were to sell for 50p for three and were to be flavoured strawberry chocolate and banana.
The idea was scrapped because parents and officials claimed that ti was condoninng underage sex, that and with them being flavoured it would cause them to <<Gasp>> experiment sexually!
What those blind people failed to see was that since underage sex is happening, we cannot stop it. However with cheap and available contraceptives we might have been able to prevent a few underage pregnancies.
I do feel though that the amily planning centres need more attention, hell the one in southend is hidden away above a load of shops. I only found out where it was cos me and my partner were trying for a child at the time.
dominoid Feb 25, 2004, 11:50 in one of the cheaper areas of Bristol you can buy Durex in the pound shops. This seems like a good idea.
dave brown Feb 26, 2004, 20:25 I once went into a chemist and asked for 144 Durex
...........................as I'm grossly oversexed !

are they second hand? :O
sysadm Feb 27, 2004, 22:22 In most of the cheaper areas of Bristol condoms have completely sold out.
dominoid Feb 28, 2004, 16:35 hmm, so the people of Bristol are highly sexed? They're not second had, I think they're subsidised or short-dated or something. I get them from FPCs instead so I haven't bought any.
sysadm Feb 29, 2004, 01:18 I think people waste them ,shagging people they didn't really want to.
We really need to look after our condoms ,once there gone, there gone. And its ok saying well ,ill go and buy another one, when the machines have run dry.
