Hello everyone,
I'm new here so please bear with me. I have some questions about peer- to-peer programs like Kazaa and Kazaa lite for sharing mp3s. Would it be better for a rookie like me to go with the lite program? I've heard some bad things about the newest Kazaa program being very intrusive on your system. Is this true?
I'm not much of a hacker. I've only recently mastered the E-mail thing so is a program like Kazaa way out of my league?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I use kazaa lite without any detremental effects, i find it is fairly good, no adware and spyware, but as with most p2p apps you get the odd asshole that missnames their files, eg. warcraft 3 turns out to be nhl 2002, but as previously mentioned it works fine.

I never quite got to grips with kazaa to be honest. I strongly recommend IMESH - does the same job, but is nicer to use, spesh if you're a newbie.

Yeah definately stick with kazaa lite if you choose to go that route. As for Imesh, the beast and I have yet to meet and it's time that we did...

Imesh is now riddles with spy and adware, which is a fuckoff in my opinion, i used to use imesh, biut have found that kazaa lite has more user from which to leech stuff.

And for its worth, IMESH has a banner saying its Spyware free.

And the ads don't bother me to be honest.

I use kazaa, and don't upgrade, and change feed limit like I'm sailing peanuts at the "monkey island", its fun to im guys too. ;)
