A ned/chav-type menial worker person in Mr McFoxxy's work has just given birth, and a few weeks ago she spent £50 on a Burberry baby-gro for the child. Could this possibly be the biggest waste of money ever, or can you prove me wrong?

Somewhat embarrasingly, I can top this:

She refused to confess how much it was, but I bet it wasn't far short of #50:

My sister spent £200+ on a burberry handbag and purse.
Everytime I see her with it I tell her shes a pikey cunt with money to burn, that best part of a weeks wages and the cunt buys a fooking handbag. /me explodes with rage

Spending loads of money on accessories is fine.

Spending loads of money on vulgar accessories is not.

I'm thinking my degree is possibly the biggest waste of money ever- £3000 on fees (thank you Mr Blair) and then £14,000 of student loans (thank you again Mr Blair)- so £17,000 just to get a piece of paper that most people have- and from an art college (noooooooooooooooooooooo!)

I see why you would be angered. Post a picture of her so we can assess her pikeyness.

Lil' al - all you gotta do is earn 5 grand more than a non-graduate, and it's paid for itself in 3.5 years. You'll be better off in the long run, don't fret.

Hmmm I spend money on designer clothes for my ex's lad. He had some really cute Armani jeans, but I wouldnt say I fitted the chava stereotype, just it was cute.

Oh he had an Armani t-shirt aswell which was beautiful, lacoste poloshirt and some lovely burberry 3/4 short thingys.

I just thought it was all so cute with the dinky labels, and okay it probably is a waste of money. But, he was happy, he had all the toys he wanted so why not indulge yourself if you can?

If I can justify £160 on a handbag for me, well why not spend some on him?

I'd want about 16 handbags for £160!

Nine West is not that expensive here... I'm sure it's not... I'd expect Jimmy Choo for that much...

Nope, shoes are about £70.

I saw some lush ones in Debenhams on Tuesday night.
