Barnacle Bill Mar 20, 2004, 20:52 I tried to find Calender Girls on dvd today around watford shops, it had sold out everywhere but noticed that Donnie Darko is on sale everywhere for £5.95 !!! and it is still quite high up in the charts.

I brought it for £4.99 from ASDA, and to be honest, im glad I didnt spend any more on it.
I would prefer it cheaper and not get all the extras.
Barnacle Bill Mar 21, 2004, 11:43 I bought Calender Girls for my girlfriends dad, he wants to slip one to Helen Mirran !!
Why is Donnie Darko so cheap ? is it really shit or something, i thought everyone said it was a great film ?
and thanks Dai for spoiling the ending, dickhead.
dogbomb Mar 21, 2004, 12:41 daidavies: use fucking spoiler tags.

and thanks for cleaning that post up before i came across it :)
Ronin Da Bomb Mar 22, 2004, 01:21 The Version You Brought Was So Cheap Because It Is A Budget Version. A Company Has Brought The Rights To Release It On DVD With No/Minimal Extras And Sell It For Around A Fiver. If You Look Around, Many Smaller Films Are Avaliable Like This And The Most Common Company That Publishes Them Are Prism Lesiure
Just Imagine Its Like A Budget PC Title
