its hardcore!! biggest freakout ever.

it turns out that molten glass is actually quite hot,

but it looks like normal glass.

Molten glass is awesome. We used to play with it in physics. Connnect a glass rod up to the mains and watch it glow then burn then drip onto the table...

... it makes perfect marbles!

erm...burnt me finger on a fag once, you know when you go to take a fag out your mouth and it sticks to your lips so your fingers travel all the way down to the burning bit?

i was talking about burning flesh to my dad... we have a weird relationship... and he says that theyre BRANDING people now.

aparently its some sort of groovy tattoo! and you cant have it lazered out, you have to get some skin FROM YOUR ARSE and cover it.

people are weird, fashion is weirder.

I've done that a few times, I've also burnt my lips twice. Once when i dropped a fag and put it back in my mouth the wrong way round, once when I tried to kiss an ex girlfriend while she still had a fag in her mouth.

I have got two fag burns on my left hand where I was ripped to the tits and tried to draw a face smiley face :)
I got as far as the eyes.
But yes burning flesh is indeed hardcore, saw a show about extreme tattooing and it bbriefly covered branding.
Now I like to see just how much pain I can take, tattooed neck etc but no way would I give that a crack.

Yeah...branding is big now. My cousin owns a shop, and they do electrocautery every now and then...its apparently one of the most painful things you can have done to yourself, mod wise. This is semi-different from branding, which involves actually having a shaped steel brand to push into someone and actually hurts a hell of a lot less, since you kill the nerves about a second or two into it. Somewhere in the middle of the two is just using heated razor blades to cut and burn a design into a person at the same time...hurts less, apparently.

lol...I have the same thing on my arm, except I got the mouth. Since its essentially just three dots, it looks alot like a screaming monkey to me.

Sometimes it would help to think about things first...

i have a small perfectly rounded scar on my left wrist where my old best mate burnt me with a fag, we were pissed and she went to stub it out in the ashtray, missed and did it on my wrist instead.

i got her back by doing the exact same thing on her finger months later.

i fell of an old bsa when i was younger we where riding it around in a field,

i ended up with the bike on top of my legs .
i smelt something and yelped out

my mates pulled the bike off me

the bikes exhaust had been on my bare leg as i only had shorts on and the exhaust melted a patch of my skin.

(still got the scar)

There's a singlespeed world championship every year (singlespeeds.....bikes with no gears, tough as hell offroad)

anyway. The past few years the winners (one man, one woman) had a COMPULSORY tattoo as their prize. Last couple of years, they branded them, ranch style. Nice.

It hurts, lots I have got "eternal love" scrawled across the base of my neck/top of the spine. A bit more than the chest (Ihave got my lil girls name in the same place)

When I was about five I put some plastercene on the fireguard to soften it...Then forgot about it... Then remembered it, picked it up and screaming tried to shake it off my fingers. The whole "wodge" of it landed on my leg and I watched as it bubbled and sank into my skin. Ouch! I attended out-patients for weeks after as they "picked" bits of it out with tweezers. Whenever I have a pepperoni pizza and the cheese is bubbling 'round the meat I think of plastercene! Fortunately the smell is quite different! Ha Ha! (unless you have a Donimo's... Only joking)

It was destiny that I became a scientist. Even as a young child I was interested in experimentation and learning.

For example I remember the "Let's see how hot the iron is by touching it" experiment. Result: Flesh-burningly hot. Then there was the " Let's see how hot the exhaust pipe is on dads car after a 2 hour drive" experiment. Result: as above.
