View Full Version : New car!! misschicago Mar 27, 2004, 10:49 Today I'm going to pick up my new car, a BMW 325i. Any suggestions, besides not crashing it? salsa Mar 27, 2004, 11:54 check the paintwork over, and also it has enough oil and water in it. PDI's arent always thorough. dukesy Mar 30, 2004, 12:07 Just remember to carry a stiff broom in the boot of your car. Use it to sweep the broken glass to the side of the road every time you have a minor accident :D :moo: dave brown Mar 30, 2004, 12:53 When you transport skunks in your car always drive with the windows open. wbps Mar 30, 2004, 13:35 Feed it petrol, not steak. Cars don't like being fed steak, not even a very nice fillet with boiled new potatoes and a selection of seasonal vegetables, washed down with a claret heavily redolant of tempestuous passion. It gives them wind. GuinnessMeister Mar 30, 2004, 13:39 Don't try and use it as a hat. You will get a sore neck. wbps Mar 30, 2004, 14:13 misschicago spouted: Today I'm going to pick up my new car, a BMW 325i. Any suggestions, besides not crashing it? You must have very strong arms! :)) marleyb Mar 30, 2004, 16:38 yes i suggest you sell it and buy yourdelf a vespa / lambretta or a classic brit bike. live to ride-ride to live FemaleProdigy Mar 30, 2004, 18:16 Make sure you don't let your friend drive it. If you do, you might just need that broom to shove up their ass once they tell you they wrecked your brand new BMW TheAlmightyWa Mar 30, 2004, 20:24 Swap it for my totally twatted fiat punto. No? THE HOUND Mar 30, 2004, 20:27 Make sure you have good breakdown cover, BMW, Mercedes, and VW's are among the most recovered vehicles on the road. netniV Mar 30, 2004, 21:20 misschicago spouted: Today I'm going to pick up my new car, a BMW 325i. Is it the sports edition with extras ? :) Smooth ride, lovely lovely to be a passanger in, but the bastards won't put me on their insurance for some reason! Oh, and a 5 year servicing deal they got too... Toxic Mar 30, 2004, 22:29 Remember, pavements for people, roads for driving, pavements for people, roads for driving..... SweetGalenas Mar 30, 2004, 22:35 make sure you race by other cars, so you can get to the stop light first. From what I've seen, that's mandatory for BMW drivers. ;) Alex the Large Mar 30, 2004, 22:46 Splash as many cyclists with huge puddles as you can. They really love it. netniV Mar 30, 2004, 23:39 Keeps us cool. squeaky sausage Mar 31, 2004, 02:08 SweetGalenas spouted: make sure you race by other cars, so you can get to the stop light first. My little brother is a motorcycle mechanic and he refuses to let me take one of his because I'm a girl. Alex the Large Apr 1, 2004, 00:48 I used to ride motorbikes when I were a lad (adjusts flat cap). I loved it, the feeling, the freedom, the ability to burn-up the road, the cool bastard look, the head-turning, the beauty of riding in the summer. Then, when I was 17, I saw my best mate and "riding buddy" plough into the side of a car at 50mph when some dickhead pulled out on us. My mate was tossed into the air like a rag doll and landed square on his head, breaking his neck and causing massive internal injuries. He died the following day. I kinda went off motorbikes after that. marleyb Apr 1, 2004, 04:00 hey miss chicago tell your brother plenty of females ride motorbikes and he should give you a bike.. alex , sorry to hear that about your friend, i have had a couple of my friends die in bike accidents also, then again where i live its usually cars full of young kids that crash. bike deaths have gone up in the last couple of years but thats down to idiots on 170mph sports bikes. myself i would ban those bikes off the road. my vespa will do 80mph but i allways keep to the speed limits and in 34 years of having brit bikes and scooters i have only had one accident. ( so far } anyway sorry to go on about bikes when this post is about someone getting a new car.... so have fun in your new car and drive safe DoodleBug Apr 2, 2004, 21:48 misschicago spouted: Today I'm going to pick up my new car, a BMW 325i. It's just new to me. I have never bought a brand new car and I don't think I ever will because it's a depreciating item. It's a 2000- and it's black! And it's f***ing fast!
