The locust were the worst band ever, and I admit to being one of the many many people booing. In fact. they were that bad that I thought they ruined the whole gig, the atmosphere afterwords was horrible, because people just couldn't be arsed. The fact that someone actually signed that band disgusts me....

Oh you bunch of unappreciative arseholes. did you pay money to see the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, or did you pay for the whole night out? Thought not. The support act are, as they usually are, a novelty, an amusement. Bet you were one of the many women i saw dragging their dour-faced boyfriends away from the main arena, cause you "couldn't understand the lyrics/ couldn't distinguish one tune from another/ didn't understand that sometimes music challenges you and isn't about setting your day to day life to a soundtrack".
If you want to listen to safe, ordinary, unpredictable "normal" music, then the Pepsi Chart is THAT way.
Why don't you go home to your Ikea furnished, Sunday Herald Style Mag approved, "just a place to flop" flats, and leave the rest of us to appreciate the different flavours of life in its myriad colours, alone.
Mind you i did meet Stuart Braithwaite from Mogwai, so it wasn't all bad.

Now don't come on with all that fucking bollocks. I appreciate all sorts of diverse/alternative styles of music, but that was just a fucking mess of noise. And yes, every 'song' did sound the same. No, I couldn't distinguish any lyrics whatsoever. And yes, I thought they were absolutely horrible.
Some people pretend to like music like that in order to appear 'cool'. I used to know a guy like that. Right pretentious wanker he was. You listen to music you like because it does something to you, not because you want to revel in your 'non-commercial' attitude.

Derail Over.
