we've probably all been through the phase of thinking we would become a major popstar at some point in our younger age. so what would you have called yourself and why?

when i went though the "im going to be a popstar" phase my band name would have been Scorched Earth. i still think thats a cool name.

i got the name from a colour swatch of paints available from Homebase.

I always thought that Terri-Lee was the perfect pop star name, and it would always be my first choice of name for my Barbie when I was playing Barbies with my friends.

I fantasized a lot in school about being some cool drummer/pianist/singer but I never thought up names for myself.

Myself and a friend used to pretend we were a pianist duo in music class at school and we called ourselves 'enembius' (a play on the initials of our names NMBS) but alas, twas only a childish dream :/

Did you ever use a false american accent when playing barbies ? Just wondered because i used to althoug mine was Sindy doll but even more perculiar was my youngest daughter used to do this really high pitched american voice whenever her barbies talked :)

Yes, I did. And sometimes we woule act out scenes from N?eighbours (in American accents, despite it being Australian) like when Todd died or when Jane and Mike got caught fooling around on the grass verge at the end of Ramsay Street.

My band name would probably be dominoid if I could get away with it. I never relly thought about the band name much but I would call my first album:
'your home may be at risk if you do not keep up repayments on a mortgage or other loan secured on it'

My first album would be : " You don´t look at the mantlepiece when you´re poking in the fire."

My friend used to have a band called the 'Flaming buckets' which i thought was quite cool.

In my home town they run a battle of the bands competition every year.

For each of the heats they used to print the names of the bands in the local paper. Now when you're 16 you can imagine how hilarious it is to enter a band called 'full rectal prolapse' and see it printed for all the town to see.

Mine would be The Cyclone Rangers. From the lyrics to Turning Japanese by The Vapors, one of my all time faves. Album probably be something like "If the wind changes you`ll stay like that" for some reason.

Fave bandname of alltime tho is Captain Beefheart and The Magic Band (I think that was it). It has a stupid/funny story to how he chose that name!!!
