im covered in the fuckers

why? i never got bothered with spots when i was a teenager but now, 30 in a couple of weeks, im covered in the bastards.

any tips? i wash my face with soap as dove was making my skn greasy.

why am i getting spots now? are my hormones still up the spout?

more to the point - where does the word maldoon come from and what does it mean?

I remember my dad calling things mouldy maldoons many years ago? It's very strange to see someone else using it.

spotty maldoon was a sketch by harry secombe in that prog he was in years ago with the other guys (similar to the goodies). however i have no idea what a maldoon is.

ok...the following is going to sound really weird, but it worked for me.
I too was a spot farm about a year ago until I happened upon one of those one million uses for vinegar websites, and one of the benefits of the fabulous winegare was as an astringent. So i wash my face, astringe(?) with vinegar, and moisturize with almond oil. And I have'nt had a breakout since.
yeah..so that's my face plan. plus what you eat comes into play, and how much water you drink.

Ive just broke out with a load of the fuckers also...I find Sudocrem fast healing.

Just drink plenty of water. Never go to Mcdonalds/Burger king or similar outlets. Eat plenty of veg.
Oh and an exfoliant face wash.
Works for me.

I get spots when I neglect to shave. I know this doesn't help AHM, but I'm just saying...

me too - so I don't bother. I shave on Mondays, and then get progressively scruffier through the week. By Sunday night I've started to look like a yeti, and so it's time for the dreaded shave again.

I fucking hate shaving.

Occasionally I get a couple of big spots that take ages to go away. I have a beauty now on my foreheed, but my hair covers it.

I too have suffered huge breakouts recently- and the really nasty painful kind of spots without any heads- at the age of 22 this is not fair!
Apprently your skin goes in 7 year cycles so I should have great skin again by the time I'm 30.

I've no idea about Spotty Muldoon.

But I use Clinique for my facials (ahem).
They do this 3-step cleansing ritual - moisturise is the key. Ya gotta moisturise.

I still get spots on my arse though. ;)
