I agree... to an extent. They seem to get better with each album. Us and Us Only was great, but Wonderland was fucking amazing. Can't wait for the new album

Very very good band. Consistently good albums but the new single left me cold. And the new album has received bad reviews. Then again, what do critics know.

Update: heard the single now, and I think it's fantastic.

The album.. Up At The Lake.

First Impressions were mixed. Thought it had some good songs on, but no absolute stunners, and the album seemed a little bit disjointed and didn't really work. However, I've now listened to it fuckloads, and I have to say that I really really like it now.

Up until track 9 (sung by the keyboardist Tony Rogers) it's very very good... after that however, it gets a bit weak.
Definately not as good as Wonderland, probably not as good as Us and Us Only, Up At The Lake is on a par with Tellin Stories IMO.
