The piccie is of Derek Smalls, bass player of said band who put a cucumber wrapped in tinfoil down his jeans to largen (is that a word?!!?) his packet, and got caught in an airport metal detector.

As for the comedy genius, Derek is played in the film by Harry Shearer, who does the voices of Mr Burns and Otto in the Simpsons, amongst others. Plus the fact that most of the scenes in Spinal Tap (one of the funniest films ever) were improvised shows how funny this man (and me) is.
