Not sure where to put this so here it goes :)

My friends and I are looking for a really good fancy dress idea and decided on the full ghostbuster kit, complete with proton packs, guns etc... does anyone know where we will be able to buy such costumes for about 5 or 6 of us ?

We have been scouring ebay and picked up a few pairs of ecto goggles already :) But we'd like to get old of some proton packs and the overalls etc...

If anyone can help that would be great :)

Make the stuff yourself! Much more fun. Take a white boiler suits, dip in tea for a short while to get the correct colour. Download the correct "No Ghosts" images and print off: you can get a solution from haberdashers to transfer this to cloth, so stick them onto the boiler suits. Then do a Blue Peter job on the Proton packs and guns, knee pads etc.

If you have a very fat friend, paint him green and he can be Slimer. :)

You can usually pick up decent overalls from markets, you'll have to do a bit of hunting though.

Those supa-squirta type water guns with backpacks would make good proto packs with some minor modifications. Plus you could fill em with cheap vodka...

a few mates of mine have exactly what you want. i think they put it all together themselves. I'll get some details for you.

if your smart it wont cost much at all. for example, get a boiler suit. dye it the right color. then a few patches on it and your half way there.

Strap an old hoover to your back and Bobs yer Uncle!

Near me theres a combined fancy dress and stationary shop. This is also the town that has a combined internet cafe and art shop.
