Don't know if this has been discussed before, sorry if it has. Has anyone used this kind of thing before?

It seems to be a great idea, but my common sense is telling me it is a big scam/con. I can see if it was legit that this company make a lot of money from it and it would be a fantastic deal for the buyer too.

Definately not legit, don't go for it. Pyramid schemes are actually illegal in the UK, and the US I believe, and that's effectively what this is, though I will suspect they'd probably navigate all around the houses and rules to get away with it...

If it seems too good to be true, then it is. Simple enough.

When I first started working for my last job, I had one of the women that I worked with ask me if I wanted to put in "My part" of $400.00 for a "Birthday Party" (pyramid) that the office women were doing. I of course said no, because I had no money, and they all got busted! I loved every minute of it!!

I saw sonething the other day about the "Birthday Party." It's women only, and they all meet up somewhere and contribute money. If you're chosen you are given upwards of $30,000. You contribute money and they take it and go to the next town.

What's a pyramid scheme? Someone please enlighten me...

Then goes on to explain the "difference", which actually isnt different
