Everyones going on about how shit James is which is true. But Barthez isn't exactly the safest pair of hands either. So thats were England stand a chance.

I reckon it will be a draw and will probably stick a tenner on it.

I reckon it all depends on who scores first. If France score first it will probably be curtains for Beckham & Co as England aren't the best at going after teams and chasing the game, which would also leave them open to Henry and Pires on the counter. If England score first they could be in with a chance, confidence would rise and they could sneak it.

Saying all that, I'm going to play safe and say 1-1 :D

I feel a great deal of animus towards both teams (though i love both countries), so i really don't have a favourite. The only thing tipping the scales for me is the fact that the English squad is too cocky (and fucking boring!) and the french squad, other than Zidane, has no real flair (i for one do not subscribe to the henry as next-big-thing theory).

Also while id never say Henry would rival Zidane for ability, you just have to watch him the last 3 seasons for Arsenal to see the guy is one of the best in Europe if not the world
