I read in the Daily Mail that a German TV shop are so sceptical of their own national team that if people buy a TV from them now, and Germany win Euro 2004, they will give it to them for free.

What do u all reckon, would it be worth a gamble for Geramy to do it?

That's what everyone thought about them winning the world cup after England beat them 5-1 in qualifiers. They still got to the final.

Germany always perform in the big tournaments.

They certainly did much better at the last World Cup than they did at in '98. I don't think they'll win this one, but i think they'll make it pretty far.

it wouldnt surprise me if they won it. not being english i dont have the same dislike for them that no doubt is clouding most of your judgements. uno has the right idea.

Immediately they go out (semis at best I reckon) put your money on them for 2006
