I think the Czech's may be in with an outside chance in Euro 2004, and I predict them to beat Latvia 4-0 this afternoon.

I'm looking forward to seeing the Czechs, but am thanking my lucky stars that Smicer did not make the starting line up. :D

I like the Czechs a lot. they play good, entertaining football without too much of that corrosive cynicism that you find in the 'bigger' teams. I don't think they'll have too much trouble with Latvia though. 2-0.

Czechs to beat Lativia 3-1.

I thought Latvia played really well despite losing. The Czechs superiority showed through in the end, and I fancy them to do quite well in the tournament.

It was an entertaining game considering these teams don't seem that exciting to the neutral viewer.

Czech Rep. were great though, knuckling down and getting the result despite being a goal down. They'll be tough to beat.

Despite only winning by the one goal the Czechs impressed me as much as anyone so far: Nedved and Baros looked up for it, Poborsky had some good moments. If they can get Rodsicky (sic?) into things a bit more they'll do well.
Also they didn't change their style of play drasticaly despite being 1 down to Latvia with 20 mins to go which shows confidence / good temprament.
