Although Beckham still plays a good game in parts, he seems very iffy apart from the ball into the centre. Is that all he has to offer any more??

He seemed to be charging down there like a quality left-midfielder the entire game, while Scholes was anonymous. If I were Sven I would try again with Bridge in defence and Cole at left midfield. Mr. Biscuit Jun 25, 2004, 08:06 Did scholes actually play last night? GOONERS did the country proud though :) cor_innit Oct 18, 2004, 09:45 Fuck you'll miss him when he's gone. He'll adapt quickly too, concentrating on being a dad - but how will that trout react? Fancy spending 24/7 with that. Peace^Frog Oct 18, 2004, 21:01 It seems the tabloids have already sealed his fate in terms of celebrity status now that mr rooney has arrived and the blanket coverage of his girlfriend, no matter how irrelevant it maybe! |
