So, Greece will play Portugal in the Euro 2004 final after beating Czech Republic in extra time.

I don't know what to make of all this. As much as I like to see the underdog do well, it would probably have been a better final had it been Portugal V Czech.

Also, the final game of the tournament will be a repeat of the first game of the tournament.

We all know what happened there!!

Go Greece!!

Not the shock of the tournament (Latvia getting a point of Germany) as I've been going strong on Greece since before the start of the tourney, cwun on!

As much as I love Greece - and Greek football, I couldnīt help but feeling that the game was a fix-up. Sorry, but there was something wrong about that game - It stank!

greece winning was brilliant for the fans of greece who cant have expected to even get past the group stages...

i think euro 2004 has been a great event
and all credit to the people of portugal..

i think portugal will win the final and the fans of greece will also be able to
celebrate just for getting to the final..

footy sure is the greatest game on the planet....

This tournament has been fixed from day one so that the Portugese can win it. I hope fucking Figo chokes to death on a plate of stinking Caldo Verde.
Alpha fucking Omega indeed. :bombguy: :bombguy: :bombguy: :bombguy: :bombguy: :bombguy:

yeah, that's why they lost the first match.

Yes it was carefully planned mis-direction, so it looked like Portugal rose from the ashes after the bitter disappointment of losing to getting to the final...the story book plot.

Then again it could just be Portugal started off slowly and got better as the tournament went on. Now the got better remark is questionable in some matches but they did indeed start slowly.

Oh and for the final i dont care who wins as long as the score finished 10-9 :P

Bugger, I'm out the sweep.

I was disappointed that Greece won (sweep aside) because a negative team orchestrated by a tactical German got through. I hope Portugal, the flair team, kick their arse in the final.

*Ahem* I would have thought that Greece (80-1 outsiders) reaching the final of Euro 2004 is a bit more of a shock than Latvia getting a point off the worst German side in years.

I don't like to see the underdog win. I like to see them crushed into the dirt like the slimey chancing weasels that they are.

Greece are inthe final because they have had a game plan, stuck to it rigidly and had their better players peak at the same time. They didn't have much flair and I was gutted that the Czechs aren't going to be in the final.
