Hi All me again :)

I have just got a new Computer and the sound dosnt seem 2 work...Its plugged into the back correctly and it switched on but nothings cummin out.

Any ideas?

Go into control panel and sounds then click on adjust volume. make sure everythings turned up.

When i do that it says 'No Audio Device' and everything is blacked out so i cant click on it :(. Im on XP!

Go into control panel click on performance and maintenance. Click on system then choose Hardware. Choose the add hardware wizard to see if it comes up with your soundcard. then you may have to put in the driver disk if it does find it.

I didnt get a disk with it. I tryed what u said and it said that the device is working properly. so i aint gotta clue lol.

On the box it says there plug and play so they wont need any drivers?

i dont understand how it can say no device found in one section and device working properly in another!?

do you have a little speaker icon near your clock? check the settings in there!

if your pc has a sperate sound card (not integrated into the motherboard), you might just want to whip the lid off and make sure that its seated in the motherboard slot correctly. they sometimes dislodge in transit.

It means you can have an avatar(a little picture under your user name)
