It should run with the game settings on low at least,when you say it wont run what exactly do you mean?The program wont execute at all or it will but graphics look dodgy or runs like a slide show......?

Meh! I wish I had a PC with a spec like that (other than my work laptop)
you need a top spec graphics card..i have an FX 5950 ULTRA running with an Athlon 64 3400+ processor and still had problems with it!

it's a lap top. i'm sure quite a few games have trouble running on a lap top because the graphics cards aren't the equivalant to once in a desk top. maybe the screen response time isn't fast enough either.

The original half life is a good bet, as is Unreal tournament and Max Payne, this setup should have no problems with those.
