What magazines do you read girls ?
I picked up a copy of Womans own the other day and i couldn,t put it down.

And ok i admit it i do read Elle sometimes

Marie Claire, Cosmo and Company. Glamour occasionaly, although it is probably the best out of the ones I've mentioned, simply because they're aware that black and asian women read it and include us in their make-up advice sections.

Is it just me, or are these magazines 75% advertisements? I'm often* left wondering where the actual articles are amongst the hoardes of shampoo, clothes, jewellery adverts.. Or is THAT the content?

I used to read my flatmates. The sheer number of adverts is astonishing. They are also presented differently than in mens mags: More emphasis on ladies bodies, which came as a not unwelcome surprise. :) Or is that just a male reaction...? Hmmmm.

I swear, these magazines are sold on weight: I go jogging wearing a backpack with about 6 of these stuffed in. It gaves me a weight increase of 5Kg, and if I feel like more weight, in goes another issue.

They read Glamour, Cosmo and Vogue.

I read Heat, and thats about it.

Unless my daughter leaves one here i don't read them too busy reading my books :)

I'm more of a book girl too.

And I'd rather read Viz than any of those crappy women ones.

I Drink Cosmopolitan though, if that counts?

I read Loaded, FHM and Maxim, and Heat and Inside Soap.

Well, I used to, when I had time to read things written on paper that didnt want money :D

I used to buy all sorts of nonsense, Best, Womens Own, Take A Suicide Note.
But they were all full of people worse off than most telling their heartwrenching tales of woe, and not the uplifting humorous read I need. The mens magazines are much more tongue in cheek and interesting.

I'll look through Ralph if my son leaves one around. I used to read F1 Racing but now I get all the good articles about my drivers of preference off the Net. Stopped getting Kerrang and Hitparader for the same reason. (Metal Hammer and Metal Edge disappeared off the market after the Goods and Services tax was introduced here.) Never touch womens magazines. Just a load of bollocks about cooking, fashion, kids, the Royal Family and Nicole Kidman.
I work for 'Take A Closer Look' magazine on a voluntary basis so I always read that.

Cosmopolitan, Glamour, Marie Claire, and Jane....oh and does my boyfriend's Maxim, Razor, and Stuff count too??? Sometimes the men's magazines are much more interesting than the women's...especially when I'm not wanting to read about make-up, hair styles, or clothes!
