View Full Version : I dont sweat, I glow.
I bought a new anti-perspiring thing yesterday, called Mitchum. Put it on before i went to bed last night, 10 hours later and I was dry. No sweat patches on my clothing, it was brilliant. I was expecting to be yucky because my room was about 28 degrees and I was under a duvet, but nothing. This is my anti-perspiring thing of choice now.
I put this in bitches because I think women feel more strongly about sweating than blokes.
Cyberhun Jul 29, 2004, 11:37 I'm lucky as I hardly sweat, so I just use plain old roll on.
Speaking of sweating though, when having sex, is it normal for a bloke to bath you in his own sweat? :\
netniV Jul 29, 2004, 13:01 Trust me, when you run with a high body temperature like I do, you tend to use multiple products to keep the sweating down. It's a blessing and a curse, as women love nicking my body heat to keep them cuddly and warm, but it is a blasted pain in the murky heat when you need a new shirt like twice a day at least !
enourmous david Jul 29, 2004, 13:09 .... when having sex, is it normal for a bloke to bath you in his own sweat? :\
Only when were really trying hard ;)
dukesy Jul 29, 2004, 13:37 have to agree.
mitchum is the best thing going that isnt prescription
(Trust me , i know)
AND BTW...Some guys DO feel strongly

I thought that was part of the fun. ;)
I'm concerned with sweat: I can sweat very easily, so I'm going to check out this Mitcham stuff. :)
Cyberhun Jul 29, 2004, 15:46 Well yeah I know theres that whole factor of getting hot and sticky but I could end up drowning in the stuff, hes fit though. so its not that...
neildeal Jul 29, 2004, 15:56 Yeah that mitchum stuff is pretty good.
i bought a bottle last year. Worked a treat, although after about a month in it didn't seem to work aswell. Strange
thesmileyone Jul 29, 2004, 17:50 I must need superstrength deoderant as eve Mitchum didn't really do anything. I am forever concious about sweating especially as my car doesn't have air con and I need a new shirt when I get to work.
Im fortunate as well not to sweat too much so can just use normal underharm :)
dominoid Jul 29, 2004, 22:39 I put this in bitches because I think women feel more strongly about sweating than blokes.
I disagree, blokes sweat more than women and I think most of us worry about it. Personally I would have put this in Consumer Groupies.
Either way Hearing this makes me want to go and find some of this stuff, even with light clothing, no uinderwear and shaven armpits I still sweat like a german tourist when it gets hot, think I ought to try this stuff.

In that case, go to your chemist and ask for "Driclor", its SUPER strength, but has to be applied a bit weird (at night, as you go to bed, just after a shower!)....BUT it really does stop excess sweating (or Hyperhydrosis to give it it's medical moniker)

Mariska Jul 30, 2004, 10:22 I find that Dove works best for me. I do a lot of high impact aerobics and it manages to keep up with me.
AnthillMob Jul 30, 2004, 18:19 where can i buy this mitchum stuff? i currently use ultra strength sanex roll on and i still get sweaty pits. dove is useless and it gives off a nasty smell if i use it.
i am so paranoid about sweaty pits that i always wear strappy tops as opposed to tops with sleeves. if i do wear tops with sleeves i always wear black as i guess its less obvious.
id love a way round this. i bath and scrub in the bath ever day so im clean but this sweat thing is just annoying.
I don't know where else to post this, but it's sort of related to what you're talking about.
As heard on Radio 2 today.
"Women don't sweat, don't snore, don't burp and don't fart. If they didn't bitch they'd explode." :)
AnthillMob Aug 3, 2004, 18:51 i brought some and have to say, although i was a little sweaty today (and who can blame me when its like the bloody tropics) its fucking good. better than that sanex shit.
me happy.
nothing like a good burp.....
dominoid Sep 7, 2004, 13:21 I just got some of that Mitchum stuff and it's swealtering, it rules. It generally takes me about half an hour to walk to work and in the heat with my backpack on it usually leaves me with sweat patches, I've been using mitchum for a week now and nothing. It totally rules.
Fortunately I don't sweat much at all so I just stick with my Vaseline Intensive cream deodorant. Don't think I want to block the pores that long :S
phryne Sep 22, 2004, 09:02 I find that if I wear cotton or linen and shave I keep ok through the cooler months (and I can typically resort to a cheaper brand :P) but in summer....
well, apart fom anything else, 90% Im with young men, who sweat/stink a damn sight more than I do. I find that if I drink a lot of water compared to what I usually do, althoug I still sweat the same, it doesnt smell much. Hadly at all.
