My sons gf is training as a Beauty Therapist and is doing a extra course at the moment on Acrylic Nails. Last night she asked me to be her guinea pig and did my nails for me. Whilst the nails aren't very long I now feel like Edward Scissor Hands. My question is girls how long does it take you to get used to having longer nails than you usually would ? :)

I think it will take you a few days.

I would like acrylics, but I couldnt afford to keep it up.

How long to get used to them?

When you can type at your normal speed with no more than the usual amount of typo's or when you can pop the tab on a drinks can without fear or a breakage.

Oh and if you get an itch in the corner of your eye, think before you scratch.
