That was a long time ago for him already... I remember him doing that and it was so hilarious, but sadly he doesn't seem to be doing stuff like that at the moment. :S

I get the feeling that he will be a big contender for nominations every week, but the public will keep him in. Must be a nightmare sharing space with such a pompous, condescending twat, but it's good to watch.

It'd be worth keeping him in just to wind him up until the final three and then make him be the loser :D

Ugh! I hate this man. Bleeeuurrrghhhhh! Can't stand even looking at him. But he is great for the show.

I can put up with him for the rest of the show but please don't let this guy win. He will be given a Anne Robinson style game show and he will pollute our tv's for the rest of the year.

I can just picture it now ... 'You ARE the weakest link, good bye' in that soft irritating tone of his followed by a stamp of the foot and then the contestant getting blown up ejector style or disappearing through the floor down a tube to a garbage dump...

Can you imagine when he gets out and starts his new career as political correspondant for L!ve tv?

It'll be like Janeycam, but with Derek.

Have you noticed how Derek has been allowed to keep his watch. In all the other BB`s they haven`t been allowed and Anthony stated that he asked to bring in his watch and he was told no, then he seen Derek has his. Can you really see Derek standing in a queue with a lot of wannabe's for an audition? He has stated a couple of times that BB hounded him, offered him the "part" which I find quite strange. Also he stated that he told them he insisted on his electric razor every day....well he has that. When he threatened to leave he was given a secret task to win cigars and wine for himself. Is Derek the mole the Kamel is so eager to find????

I have wondered about Derek being the mole myself. I had noticed the watch but didn't actually ponder over why he was the only one I noticed with one. It would fit though because all BB have to do is ignore the votes for him should he have the most and let the next in line leave.

I don't honestly know if someone could act that out under cameras for that long though.

Rather than a mole as such I can see the production company searching out "gaps" in the line up for the show and offering them a place if they didnt get the right ones in the auditions. I know it happened before in that "make someone a model" program (the name of which i cant rember) as they offered my friend a place in the final lot before the auditions.

He's still the bookies favourite , and when he comes out with such lines as "Science is the first Black Man ,who has made me consider voting BNP" , he will always be the condender for the title.
In a weird sense ,he makes me laugh and cry at the same time.

But doesn't statements like that technically make Derek a racist since they would call science for such a thing ? The double standards is unbelievable.

Technically ,yes, but (not that we would) ,we could go into the realm of what it racism and what isn't. And whether comedians can be outed as racists .
As derek is no comedian ,it becomes a bit more confused ,as to wether he is a TV personality or not,and can bypass the clause ,by saying it was for entertainment value.

Although I haven`t got a fave, Derek has grown on me just lately. I know Anthony is prob fave to win but I really don`t want him to and can`t think of anyone else who I like better really, so yeah, if Derek wins I won`t be upset.

I'm not sure what surprises me most - the fact that Derek has the gall to claim he won the group their much needed bog-rolls (which they were never going to be denied anyway) by knowing that Silver was John Wayne's horse in a film called Hi Ho! or the fact that no-one lse in the group was able to spot his total bullshit.
On entertainment value I guess he deserves to win. But he really doesn't have much competition.

He honestly thought he had the right answer, because he re-used it as a question. That so wound me up when I saw that. Just how many other questions may he of asked that he had completely and utterly wrong.

Derek has just been a miserable git for weeks to me :(

I'm going to vote him off this week .
He has turned into a nasty ,conniving peice of work. And me don't like him no more.

(I would have said Red-Rum myself ,and was surprised ,although wrong that nobody else did)
