This week is going to be tough. Last weeks two escapees are now facing one another again. This time, there can be only one...

I`m going for Roberto. Dislike him the most out of the two of them. I think Derek still has some potential to take him through a few more weeks.

Roberto. Derek is much better value.

I actually like them both ,but ,i suppose it has to be Roberto.

Derek did make me laugh tonight with his comment about Science & the BMP, strange how Derek didn't nominate him seeing as he can't stand the guy.
Though it looks like Derek may walk before Friday:
Derek has been in the Diary Room talking about leaving before the next eviction.

He said he was delighted to be nominated again but didn't think the public would vote him out. "I remain confident that going head to head with Roberto would probably mean I would have to stay here after Friday," he said.

"That is my honest estimation. Call it big headed if you like."

Derek has two reasons for wanting to leave. One, he wants to go to a wedding (!) and secondly he wants to help Roberto stay longer.

"Roberto is a better man than me," said St Derek. "It's important to give way to others when you genuinely believe they are a better person, more decent than oneself. As each week has passed this feeling of enormous respect has grown while my feelings for others has seriously diminished."

Big Brother told Derek that should he leave, Roberto would not necessarily be spared. Big Brother also asked if he would be comfortable leaving through the backdoor and he replied, cheekily, "Plenty of people come in and out of my backdoor and I don't see any dishonour in that."

Yes Derek can be entertaining, and he has a funny take on life, but Id still rather see Ronerto stay in, of the two I would say he is the better character.

I want Derek out. Sure he's great comedy value when he spits down on people from a great height (and rightly so in some cases, particularly that fuckwit Science) but I think we can get more out of Roberto eventually, whilst Derek will just grow depressed on his own. He finds it hard to get along with the other housemates and is typically rather quiet. Roberto manages to get by and although he's quiet now I think he could be a formidable ally to help get rid of Saskia. Once she's gone they all fall down.

I could not beleive this. Why on Earth did he not nominate Science when he makes no secret of the fact he genuinely hates him. If he had nominated Science, Science would have been up for eviction, along with the two that are.

Roberto would be a lesser loss of entertainment. Derek has good value while Roberto just moans like an old woman.

People nominate those they consider to be the biggest threat at that time. Perhaps Derek was making a last ditch attempt. I can't remember who he nominated... anyone tell me? Vanessa and... Maxwell? He knew he would be up for eviction again so he was probably trying to get rid of the ones he thinks might win...

What does everyone else make of Derek's double bluff ? Now that he's staying and it all depends on whether he's kept in the house, does this mean people will vote more for Roberto or will they feel used and therefore vote out Derek like he claims to want...

I think Derek is playing the game very well as he is now not the bookies favourite to go tonight.

If the general public see's anyone pleading for votes because they want to leave they tend to do the opposite and keep them in thinking 'Let's piss them off for another week and vote the other guy out'.

Derek must be aware of this and also hoping that the other housemates will think him a big favourite with the public, untouchable & no matter how many times they put him up for nomination he won't get kicked out.

If he survives tonight and stay's for the next round of nominations I doubt he will be in the frame again next week.

He will. He's got no real allies in the house... even Roberto seems to want to try and distance himself from him a little.

Max, Saskia and Anthony cannot forget the "naughty whispering" video tha they saw Derek do.

Craig is now part of the above group, and seems to have some resentment towards Derek for making him be part of the "whispering".

Science is fairly likely to vote for Derek too. Some big clashes have occured between the two.

I can foresee Derek being the most nominated and most saved housemate. He does have some comic moments whilst he's in there ... if he did go I'd be surprised... I suspect next week it will likely be him and Science up...

Also nice to see Roberto giving his views, often we see the housemate who is interviewed asked whether they like person a or peron b and they wait for the crowd to cheer or boo, none of that nonsense from Roberto.

At the end of the day I would have prefered Science to have left the house instead of Derek or Roberto
