I wouldnt call him a lout. OK he got a bit agressive a few times, but in that environment, its not surprising, and he wasnt the only one. (He did admit he couldnt fight his way out of a paper bag). He was just a "lad" trying to amuse himself and his buddies.

Is it better to be a straight talking loud mouth or a sneaky brainwashing back stabber like derek ? Effectively, Derek/Science are so similar in personality, but one uses his airs and graces to tell others what he thinks, and the other just says it point blank sometimes.
