I have to admit I am finding this years tasks rather boring. The pirate thing, the holiday reps, even the sports task wasn`t that good. The tasks in previous years have actually required effort on behalf of the contestants such as the keeping the fire alight for so many hours with 2 people always in attendance and the Pedalo which seemed to last for ages and theres loads more that I can`t even think of at the moment. This year they have seemed too easy and the contestants don`t seem to be bothered all that much whether they pass or not.

dare i mention that the tasks in previous years have actually required the housemates to (a) work together to some extent and (b) have a modicum of intellegence

not that there aren't intelligent individuals in there, but the average is skewed towards the shallower end of the gene pool



(all of the above is "in my opinion" obviously)

I don't think the tasks have been too bad this year but 99% of them have been done for entertainment value then teambuilding skills.

But on saying that I think the housemates that have been selected all had characteristics(spelling?) which the selectors knew would course friction...which is they are all selfish, chuck in a few into the mix who would promote teamwork (roberto,derek etc...) and a few who want to play by themselves (Science) and a few which could go either way and are a bit dim (the rest of the house)

So I think the tasks appear to be crap for 2 main reasons all the housemates are thick and all the tasks no matter how simple were all destined to fail because of the selection process of the housemates.
