The must-see film of the summer IMO

Went to see it last night and wasn't disappointed - it was brilliant.
very funny in places - had the whole cinema laughing out loud.
Great performances from everyone and Bill Nighy's make-up was amazing. Excellent special effects too.

Some good twists too and the ending - well

I went to see it yesterday morning.

It was good, and the special effects were great and it was very funny

but

sometimes the hokeyness was just too unbelievable

however it was the first thing to tempt us back to the cinema in months and months which can't be all bad

I enjoyed it, although the story was a bit creaky at times. Good to see so much of the original cast back, and yes, the ending suggests that the third one will be a real treat. Even thought Orlando wasn't half bad and the bloke who was Elizabeth's other lover in the original looks a lot better with some facial hair. Cool monsters too.

BUT--WTF happened to Keira's tits? It should have been "Search for the Half-Dead Woman's Chest."

just back from seeing it at the packed-ass theatre. well, about 2 weeks go.
lemme just say that except for the unfortunate casting choices of Keira "flat as a surfboard one-trick pony" Knightley and Borelando "bland as 2-week old roach-ridden dry toast" Bloom, which i suppose can't be helped, the movie was off the motherfucking chain. yeah, in a few places some things felt crammed in, like the "wheelfight sequence", but i doubt there'll be a more entertaining way to waste 2+ hours this summer.
9/10
spoiler:
geoffrey rush comes back at the end; captain barbossa's alive this time, so the 3rd one will most likely be the best of them all

p.s. knightley has about as much chest as Patrick Stewart has hair.

It's good to see that you've learnt the art of copy and paste ;)

For what it's worth, some of the people I've talked to about this have argued over it in the same way as they did over LOTR:I. It's whether you consider the film self contained or merely a part in a series. Personally, having watched it I consider it a part in a series but you could still watch it on it's on.

I don't think I have ever encountered someone who had such strong feelings about Keira Knightleys tits.
