Have you noticed the recent surge in film trailers, that show a bit of the action, and then at some point a small subtitle that tells you about the level of content appears, in a dumbing down of the film classification system kind of way?

My personal current favourite is "Contains mild threats and some scary moments". I also previously had a brief love affair with "contains mild peril".

If you see a good one, post it here, preferably with the name of the film its gracing. Or if you happen to know the person that thinks these captions up, then please, ask them what they are thinking??

This thread has reminded me of that website someone posted a couple of years ago on here.

It was a christian site that wrote detailed reviews and offered guidance to parents and stuff and at the end they`d put all the "bad" in bullet points.

For example (paraphrasing a bit)

E.T

"Shows boy riding bike off cliff without showing likely consequences"

"Magical corruption through touching of fingers"

Austin Powers 2

"Blasphemy - Shows lead character suffer explosion to groin area, after checking that his genitals are unharmed he says "oh thank god"

and stuff like that. To this day I can comfortably say that it`s the greatest thing I`ve ever seen on the internet.

So please, if anyone on here remembers this link then stick it in here, I`ve googled the shite out of it and nothing.

Is this it?

Pretty funny!

This is what they had to say (among many other things) about Pirates of the Caribbean II

# Offense to God (O)
# unholy disappearance
# belief in superstition, repeatedly
# voodoo witchcraft
# grotesque demonic creatures, many, frequent, of varying degrees of grotesqueness
# selling of soul
# bartering with soul, repeatedly
# "You fool!" [Matt. 5:22]
# zen meditation
# two uses of God's name in vain without the four letter expletive
# beheaded demon searching for its head, guided by its head
# impossible event - a ship as a submarine.
