View Full Version : Werner Herzog Films Daveyboy Oct 11, 2006, 10:22 OK, what's your favourite then? gwyatt Oct 11, 2006, 10:31 I went for Aguire as it is probably his most accomplished film but I probably enjoyed Fitzcarraldo more. Nosferatu I thought was not his best, too much overacting by Kinski; the film that had the biggest effect on me was Kaspar Hausar - Herzog managed to create a very creepy feeling to taht film, and of course being based on a true story, it added to the weirdness. Top man, Herzog. Saw him interviewed on telly a few weeks ago about his new bear film. Seems very straight yet attracts and is attracted to all sorts of weirdness. comababy Oct 11, 2006, 11:58 Another nod for Kasper. Daveyboy Oct 11, 2006, 12:20 To me it's a close thing between Aguire and Fitzcarraldo. Went for Fitzcarraldo because it's one of the most insane films ever undertaken and kinds of embodies the relationship between Herzog and Kinski. Bet crunt voted for Holiday on the Buses. Amanda Huggenkiss Oct 11, 2006, 15:51 I've not voted, as i'm not familiar with his work. |
