1 christmas club sandwich from Greggs (chicken, bacon, lettuce etc)
1 ring donut
1 alpen cereal bar

That ^^^ , Uno , equates to a blissful day of eating. Can't fault your choces.
If I had to nit pick , i wouldn't have had the pom bears ,and i'm not a big fan of chips (personally I would have boiled the tats , chucked in a couple of cloves of garlic and chives and a knob of butter and mashed them).
And may have been tempted to put some cheese on the ham sarnies.Little slivers, mind.
I probably would have replaced your chill senstion for a Royster T-bone steak crisp, and would have done without the second cerial bar.
I like the way you went for a ring donut intead of a nasty jam filled one .
Ring donuts ,rock.

If it doesn't bleed when you stick the knife in it isn't a steak

I know beef is a low risk meat, but I am extremely paranoid of food related illness. I have emetophobia and will do anything to avoid being sick.
dominoid Nov 9, 2006, 12:48 Remember, illness usually spread through the air so as long as the outside of a steak is cooked then it should carry no risk. The reason the middle of an uncooked burger spreads germs is because the meat has been exposed to the air (and usually scraped off the abattoir blades) With a steak, the inside of the meat has never been exposed.
Because of how my mother brought me up, until a few years ago I used to have well done steaks. It was only because I didn't specify at a restaurant once and hey just brought it over rare that I ever even tried. I mentioned to the chef after about never having had a rare steak before and he explained all that stuff to me. If you can bring yourself to, you should try a rare steak or at least medium rare, it's so much more tender and juicy if it's not cooked so much.
Ugh. I'm with Uno on this one. Mr Minx LOVES rare / blue steak, and the sight of it is enough to put me off eating. I know theres no risk to eating it, but I just prefer my meat to feel cooked in my mouth, and preferably without a pulse.

:haha: Shouldn't this have been posted in the sex forum?
UnoChild Nov 9, 2006, 15:48 Todays (so far)
1 roasted nut tracker
1 bag of salt n vinegar walkers crisps
1 bag of pom bears
3 chicken slice sandwiches (6 slices of white bread)
Another ring donut (couldn't help myself - walk past Greggs every dinner break)
Several glasses of water - no caffeine (dodgy guts from all yesterdays caffeine)
Edit
Home made tikka massala with 1 naan bread and several poppadums
2 cups of coffee
2 pints of carling
I must admit I don't cook my my steaks to Egon Ronay standards ,and tend to make sure there are no red juices visible.
(Blue? 3G , I hope you wern't refering to my sadly departed cat , Blue)
Today I muched upon:
Breakfast: Nuffin
Elevenses: A Jam sandwich
Dinner: 2 Tins of chicken soup with a crusty bloomer
Tea: A homemade chicken paprika:nice: recipe here The Hairy Bikers (http://www.bbc.co.uk/food/recipes/database/chickenpaprikawithle_80341.shtml)
No, Cappy, I was not referring to your cat, that would be at best disrespectful and at worst a culinary nightmare. The term (I think its bleu in the french sense actually but I might be lying) is used to describe a steak that is even less cooked than a rare steak and pretty much looks like a womans minge on a heavy "painters" day.
