anyone seen the Saw films?

watched the second one today. the bit with the needles made me wince like i did when it got to the end of audition. films dont usually make me wince but that was horrible.

anyone seen 3? is it gorier?

These are great films. Everything is twisted together so finely and works so wonderfully well. Can't wait to see the third one.

ah, they're all shit. the serial killer is about as menacing as ronald mcdonald; shit, that psycho ventriloquist dummy sidekick of his is scarier than him.
a few creatively-done deaths and injuries don't make up for the weak storyline and shoddy acting.

i beg to differ. the concept of thsoe deaths really drives home how horrible that would be. for me at least. and the killer is actually quite believeable. think about it, man dying of cancer who sees all these worhtless people not taking life seriously or enjoying it... all i takes is for him to be slightly off balance and there you go - a serial killer. and one with a real reason.

so you have a killer who could quite possibly happen in real life (as opposed to nonsense like the texas wankstain massacre) and then you have a bunch of deaths in creative yet believable ways.

i cant fault it. the first one had a super low budget and was fantastic. the ending was immense - cutting off your fucking leg to save your lfie and then finding that the bloke was there allalong!!! and the second one was not bad either.... much higher budget but it wasnt jsut a gorefest.

i agree about the acting though.
