My appetite has drastically fallen as of late.

Yesterday all I had was a bowl of chicken curry and white rice. That was about 3pm. I wasn't hungry when I ate it, I had about half the bowl and my mate ate the rest. I wasn't hungry after it either.

I just ate my lunch for lack of anything better to do. The mother had made me a packed lunch (wtf, I'm 17) and put in a ham sandwich, low fat crisps, a babybel and for some reason some cucumber wrapped in kitchen towel. I ate the sandwich and the crisps (which tasted of nothing, but once I open/start something I find it hard not to finish it. Drummed in to me as a kid, eat what you're given) and now I feel slightly ill because I'm so full.

I for one am very pleased, usually I'm hungry all the time.

Arrrgh now it's starting to annoy me.

I've had 2 hypos in 2 days. (Where my blood sugar goes too low). Usually my symptoms are shakiness and a psychotic longing to shove anything sugary down my throat. Before I have had soemthing like 3 chocolate bars, 2 packets of crisps and a piece of fruit in the space of 5 minutes, the hunger is that bad. It's the body's way of getting sugar into it I suppose, making me hungry. It's always chocolate, fruit and, strangely, crisps that I crave. Anyway it usually only lasts about 5 minutes then I feel sick because I've eaten too much.

But now, although my hands are shaking as I type, I'm still not hungry. I've had a 'nana which should be enough to solve said hypo, and I'm sipping iced tea, but this is darn annoying.

I also keep getting cravings for SALAD. What on earth...

Oi! *prods* gotta eat a bit more mmkay? Only curry for the whole day? Are you mad?!

Even if you're not hungry, eat little things throughout the day :)

Sachets of Oatso Simple are lifesavers when I've been naughty. I'm not diabetic but I do get dizzy spells if I don't eat, sometimes with black spots in front of teh eyes, so I have a bowl of porridge and all is well again.

Even if you don't feel hungry, eating that little is a problem. Just keep forcing yourself to eat until you've eaten a proper sized meal and then allow any gas to escape from your stomach. Chances are you have acid building in your stomach as that's what I tend to experience when I don't feel hungry from not eating...

I have an idea of what it could be, but I really really really hope it isn't that.

Most of the time it's not what you think it is, whatever that may be, and it's worrying about thinking about it maybe being that that does it.

That makes no sense.

Haha yes it does, I know what you mean. I'm not stressing THAT much because the odds are very small, but it's niggling me.
