I'm looking for some decent images of gears or cogs to use as a starting point for making some art work and I can't seem to find anything on the interweb.
I'm not looking for lego/meccano/bicycle components but decent diagrams of fairly simple gears with proper shaped teeth etc
anyone any suggestions?
this (http://images.google.co.uk/images?hl=en&q=middleburn&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&sa=N&tab=wi) do ya?
or this (http://images.google.co.uk/images?svnum=10&hl=en&lr=&q=slickshift)?

Might be a few pics here (http://auto.howstuffworks.com/gear2.htm) that could help. Or I could have a root around in the shop, I think I have a set of Chevy differential gears out there.

that is such a cool web site and explains things so well, it's one of my favourites
there is a nifty animation of how a gear box in a car works which I actually managed to understand
