Come join us in the dogbomb live chat room. There used to be a link to this, sadly the link has dies :rip: but the room lives on through the wonders of IRC. If you know what that means the point your client at #dogbomb on EFnet. If you don't know what that last bit meant, read on:

First thing you need is an IRC client. I recommend the free and fantastic mIRC which you can download from here (www.mirc.com)

First time you click connect you should see a box asking you for your name (you can lie about this) your email address (you can lie about this too) and your preferred nickname and alternative if that is not available. It will tell you below here which server it is connecting to. If it does not say "EFnet" in here then click on "servers" on the right hand side and select EFnet from this list. Then click OK and if it doesn't connect of its own accord, click the lightening symbol in the top right.

A box will pop up saying enter a channel name. In here type "#dogbomb" and press enter. You will now enter the wonderful world that is Dogbomb live chat. :hyper:

open mIRC for the first time to see this:

Fill in the requested information then click "servers" on the left hand side

Under "IRC network" select EFnet, then click "connect" on the left hand side to get to the following screen:

Cilck on "connect to server" as shown. You will see this:

click in the text box circled and type "#dogbomb" like so:

Then click "OK" and you should be in the Dogbomb IRC chat room, like this:

type your desired nickname in the nickname box, type #dogbomb in the channel box and click connect.

Does anyone really go on this anymore?? i have finally managed to get it to work and no ine seems to be on it well eother tat or noone wants to talk to me :(

What we do on a fairly regular basis (every few weeks) is pick a program and a few of us will get into chat and make a half hearted effort to mention the program whilst we chat about other stuff. Other than that its a bit hit and miss Im afraid.

yeah i did notice that. so is it a curtain program/film or anything any time?

Reality shows tend to feature heavily so that we can all point and laugh at them :) although sometimes they lead to interesting discussions.

oh darn it i cant do it.:( my digibox is having issues and only gets about 6 of the how ever many channels there is. chunkus is going to fix it for me when show me which part i need for it. as he is the qualified tecky and im his lillte in need sister. i thought big brothers are ment to help there little sisters. hehe. :)
