Is that a different rope to the one you had originally?

Looks to me like it has merely been replaced with a full size rope image in all its glory

need to go away and check, the original is from a photograph which was scanned, but all the other images in this searies had the rope going top left to bottom right

I still heve teh actual rope too

the rope phot was then used as the basis for etching and printing and stuff, and as (every one knows) when you print you get the reverse of the image that is why the print was going the other way

so the stone ( cos it was stone lithography) looked like this
