I admit pulp aren't a great band, but the lyrics are ok. I thought Pulp were shit too, until I actually listened to some of the lyrics, especially "Common People". He was also good in that tv programme about outsider art.

However, his sense of dress is appalling and appearing on a BT ad is deplorable.
