Noddy , my cat got run over last night.

I Came home from work this morning and found him under our apple tree

He'd tried to get home , but fell asleep under our old apple tree , hopefully remembering about the apple blossom that dropped on his head, last spring when we frollicked around in the garden together.

I must admit I'm reacting like a girl right now.

Ugh. I just got a link to this thread from the dogbomb twiter feed (http://twitter.com/dogbomb_board) - and it just says the title of the thread.

So I'm walking to the nearest PC thinking "What the hell, have the killed off one of Britain's most loved characters?"

Altthough he may not be as famous as the other Noddy , he meant more to me than Noddy and all the Tank Engines put together.

We are going to go for a rather low key buriel event this evening.
I've dug the hole ready <<at least two feet deep to stop foxes and predators digging it back up>> behind our garage.
Next to Blue , who died from a tumour, a couple of years ago.

This is certainly tragic news, and I can totally empathise with your loss, Sysadm.

I am so, so sorry, It's very traumatic to lose a much loved pet and both mine and Vic-20's hearts go out to you and your family.

Awww how sad. I feel for you - I lost my puss Squeaky only a few weeks ago.

Sorry to hear about that Cappy. I guess anyone with a pet could imagine the pain you must deal with when you lose a close family member, which is pretty much what they are.
