I have a really hilarious sense of humour. I laugh sometimes until the tears run off the end of my nose, but....I don't like Ronnie Barker!

But what about Porridge... bloody amazing telly! Shows just how good British comedy at its best can be (better than american; just look how similar all the american sitcoms are! Middle class, no money troubles... Even the Simpsons is on its way downhill!).
And I doubt the Americans will understand their version of "The Office", being as they have no sense of irony...

Sitcom doesn't come any better than Porridge. Good call young King Bob. The Two Ronnies at it's best was unmissable, and Ronnie Barker wrote a lot of it. Four candles anyone?

Have to agree, Porridge was (and still is) one of the funniest programmes on television. Maybe showing my age somewhat. Two Ronnies was great although now a little dated. Barker rules, although Corbett, frankly, is an annoying little cunt. But he seems to have known it, so I'll let him off.

With you all the way on this one. Porridge was very funny and still is today. As for the two Ronnies who could forget such classics as the worm that turned or the Phantom Raspberry blower of old London Town?
Take him off this list

Ronnie should not be on this site. Why is he still here? What next, the cast of Dads Army? Except most of them are dead.

I have to be honest here, I never liked him when I was a kid. Mind you, when I was a kid, I liked the fucking Young Ones, which is shit on a biscuit. As I grew up, I began to appreciate that Ronnie Barker is a genius, a one-off, an excellent actor and writer, and an all-round fucking LEGEND. Makes no secret of the fact that he likes women with big tits (Julia Breck from Spike Milligan's Q series was also a regular Two Ronnies stooge, and Lynda Baron showed off her fine funbags in a couple of Open All Hours episodes), collects dirty postcards and writes tongue-twisting lyrics and monologues like no-one else can! Naffin' 'eck Godber, if anyone else has a bad word to say against RB, I'll shit myself in amazement!

Feltch, are you a Jock, youve got me wondering now.. ;)

Porridge, the success of which was, IMO, entirely due to Dick Clement & Ian La Frenais (Likely Lads, Rising Damp, Auf Weidersehen, you name it - Genius Pure, only bettered by Python/Fawlty Towers) was admittedly brilliant, that "Open All Hours" was fuken dreadful but, for playing along with that miscasting alone, he should be shot. However, I will go with the flow here, Ronnie=GoodGuy, get him offa here, thought he was dead as well actually, shows how much ah know..
